JJ VERONIS

JJ Veronis is a metal sculptor/installation artist based in NYC.
He was an active participant in the East Village's early 1980's art scene as a member of 2B/The Gas Station, and the Rivington School.
His multi-media works have been exhibited at the Socrates Sculpture Park, Tallahassee Museum, Atlandia Design Bellagio Hotel, the Bridgehampton Museum, Bronxlandia Art Center, Outlaw Gallery, Eric Firestone Gallery.
JJ is deeply rooted and an active contributor to the NYC renegade art world/scene, with his eclectic street sign sculptures.
JJ was victorious in the 1994 Federal landmark, Visual Artists Rights Act, case.

JJ is co-founder of the Montauk Skatepark Coalition, and a principal figure in organizing & building the park.
He is a life long skater/surfer in NYC & on the East End of Long Island.
